G. H. Mumm Printed Cancels: Joyce Type 3, 2 cent 1899s

At the time these stamps were canceled, Mumm was an active exporter to 20 countries.  The United States was the largest importer of Mumm champagne, and Mumm used large numbers of US proprietary tax stamps with the types of printed cancels you see below.  Mumm was once the largest producer of champagne in the world, it is now number 3.

Contrary to a previous post about these Mumm canceled stamps, the 2 cent stamps below look better than most of my one cent stamps, even though the 2 cent stamps were affixed to much larger bottles than the one cent stamps.  Maybe drinking the contents of the bottles didn't affect the final condition of the stamps.

For the 2 cent stamps, Mumm used blue ink for their printed cancels.  Below are the images of 7 of 9 of the cancels listed by Joyce.  Joyce does not list 2 cent 1899 cancels for the months of January, July and September.
