Leopold Newborg, above, acquired his seat at the NYSE by mid to late 1900, when his partnership with Mr. Hess came into existence. I need to understand why ticker machines at the turn of the century were often shown with a glass bell covering them. Mr. Newborg may be found in The Stock Exchange in Caricature, 1904, V2.
