Following yesterday's post on the McLain Brothers, David Thompson sent me this memo of sale.
McLain Brothers memo of sale:
Appears to be 3 separate groupings at 3 different price points for 5 contracts each for the delivery of December wheat, presumably #2 wheat, to Weare Commission Company. This was almost certainly a legal sale and trade, made on the floor and properly taxed, though it occured only weeks before the McLain brothers arrest. Contract expiration straddled their arrest and suspension date.
