The dapper William C. Van Antwerp, above, spent the middle years of the 1898 tax period at the New York Stock Exchange in partnership in a firm with his own name. By 1902 the Payne & Van Antwerp partnership broke up and he went to the firm E. R. Chapman. The Van Antwerp above may be found in The Stock Market in Caricature, 1904.
