| Jay F. Carlisle started the 1898 tax period with A. M. Kidder but spent most of the years with Mr. Oliphant's company. Not sure why he's pictured on a horse with wheels the way he is, but I am sure that he made money in sugar, probably through the company American Sugar. The horse and Mr. Carlisle may be found in The Stock Exchange in Caricature, 1904, V2. |
